The "Green" Bag Ladies Donate Bags to Family Fundraising Event
November 23, 2008

Yesterday, the Cradles to Crayons warehouse - the Giving Factory - in Horsham, Pa. hosted A Family Time to Give-a family friendly "ungala" fundraising event. Families gathered under a huge tent to go through thousands of donated books, clothing, toys and school supplies for Philadelphia’s impoverished children. New “green” company, Tymel Style, LLC, donated hundreds of custom reusable bags to be given away as gifts for event participants. Tyra Hodges, co-owner of Tymel Style served on the planning committee along with Jennifer Case, founder and president of Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia. Clothing and supplies were collected to provide for over 4,000 area children.

Tyra Hodges and Melissa Parker founded Tymel Style, LLC, a company dedicated to helping businesses, organizations and individuals become more conscious about the environment, earlier this year. Tymel Style’s signature product offering is a line of custom, high-quality, stylish reusable bags. They are made from recycled materials and display bright, bold, and creative patterns that make a design statement while providing an eco-friendly alternative to disposable plastic and paper bags. The bags, which can be customized for marketing purposes, advertising, and special events such as this, were a colorful addition to the lively community-based event.
Tymel Style, LLC was launched in August 2008, after years of careful study and research, to address the need to bring eco-friendly products to consumers who wish to go “green” without sacrificing style and budget. The mission is to make a difference by bringing information, resources, and products to companies, families and individuals, knowing that each person can make small changes in their daily lives to have a greater impact on producing less waste in the environment.
