ACT/IAC Management of Change Conference

Challenge: To rebrand and promote the ACT-IAC Management of Change (MOC) Conference to federal, state and local audiences.

TYMEL Solution:  TYMEL was engaged to perform services for the May 2011 MOC Conference in Hot Springs, Virginia. Our team executed a visionary approach to create a logo used for the event, website, registration and conference materials.  Charles Morrison III, Planning Team Lead of the conference, said, "TYMEL was an integral member of the Management of Change 2011’s planning, outreach, and technology teams.  Their contributions: conference logo, TYMEL Participant Engagement Technology, and expert advice helped to “Punch-up” the conference’s appearance. The TYMEL team consistently delivered maximum effort with a high degree of creativity and quality in their promotional solutions.  Their participation was extremely valuable in all the final solutions that led to a successful event."

Result:  TYMEL delivered an original logo that incorporated the required elements and visual messages dictated by the client.  This, in combination with the TYMEL Participant Engagement Technology designed by our team, helped to increase the conference attendance for 2011.


Martin Luther King, Jr. Foundation-Washington, DC

Challenge:  To supply the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. with items worthy of commemorating the celebration of the significant national memorial dedication.

TYMEL Solution:  TYMEL worked closely with the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. in Washington, D.C. to design a product that would not only convey the importance of the memorial but also inspire over 250,000 attendees.  Harry Johnson, Sr., President and CEO, said, "TYMEL was responsive, patient, detailed, creative, solutions-oriented and made the experience, at a very hectic time for us, enormously pleasant." During the design process, numerous steps were involved from inception to creation and delivery. 

Result: TYMEL managed the process with the utmost professionalism.  Items were designed, produced and shipped to arrive in a timely manner for sale in the memorial store. 

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

Challenge:  To create and design a line of custom apparel and create a rebranding strategy for the Information Technology and Communications Directorate (ITCD) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

TYMEL Solution: In November of 2010, the TYMEL team provided creative services to design custom apparel for over 300 employees of ITCD.  We further consulted with the Director of ITCD, Adrian Gardner, to formulate a rebranding strategy for the growth of the organization.  Adrian Gardner said, "Throughout their employment, I was able to observe TYMEL's personnel at work and witnessed their expertise and unique talents on a first-hand basis."

Result: TYMEL's consultative approach and design services provided an updated logo embroidered on apparel items for the NASA ITCD staff.

Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education

Challenge: To formulate merchandising and branding strategies for a growing community-based tennis program.

TYMEL Solution:  TYMEL consulted with the client to create a distinctive brand, promotional products with an innovative logo and a custom apparel line that represents the integrity and values of the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center of Philadelphia.  According to the President, Kenny Holdsman, "The items that TYMEL provided have been top quality, well designed and visually appealing.  TYMEL is exemplary in the field of customer service, and on several occasions they provided products on a very short turn-around time without any difficulty."   The TYMEL team met with the client on several occasions to understand the vision and mission of the organization.  During our consultation, it was important to consistently incorporated the values and goals of Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center into the TYMEL design and merchandise mix.  

Result:  TYMEL's creative approach and attention to detail provided solutions to the tennis center's new merchandising efforts.  The Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center of Philadelphia line of apparel and products will launch fall 2011.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Challenge:  To provide innovative, creative and fashionable designs with specific requirements to meet the needs of a classic service organization for women.

TYMEL Solution:  TYMEL created custom designs to provide a full range of conference materials for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  According to the client, the items were, "top quality, well designed, fashionable, durable and met the high standards of the leadership within our organization."  The items supplied included custom tote bags, umbrellas, name badges, lanyards, pad folios, and various high-end VIP gifts. After meeting with the client and capturing the vision for the event, TYMEL custom designed the shape and look of the tote bag.  Our team considered various possibilities including: height, amount of literature to carry, specific organization colors, how the bag would sit on a table, where the bag would hit on the body if carried by the handles or on the shoulder, etc.  TYMEL hand selected each fabric, thread and accessory used to construct the custom tote bag.  Similar attention to detail was given to each conference item provided to the sorority.

Result:  After designing and producing the products for the client, items were delivered to various locations nation wide.  Our logistics department managed a timely delivery system to ensure successful, simultaneous events for the organization.  The TYMEL team worked in close collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. to respond quickly when questions were directed and were able to meet any changes efficiently.
